I went to an RV show yesterday in Tacoma, WA specifically to look at Class B's. There weren't any, in fact, I thought it was a pretty bleak RV show. However, the View from Winnebago was there. In an earlier post I mentioned that I looked at one and really liked it. Turns out that I liked it so much that I bought one!!!
I'll pick it up Thursday provided I can find someone to drive me up to Marysville, which is where the dealership is.
Are you wondering where I've been? Well, Hawaii for one thing and then just trying to decide what I really want to do. In other words, I've been driving myself crazy. I don't have to do that any more because I have an RV now. I'm pretty excited about it and I can't wait to hit the road with my dog.
I have to wait until May though because I'm going to house/pet sit for friends of a friend in Palm Springs, CA from April 13 - May 10. Then I can hit the road. I'm excited about the house sitting because it's in a different 55+ community, this one is a Del Web community, and I'm sure it's quite different from the one I've been looking at in Tucson. It will be great to have a comparison. Course, now that I have an RV I can check out places wherever I want, for when I decide to stay put.
I need to get ready to go to a friend's house so I have to close for now. I'll write about my Hawaii trip later, most likely later today.
It feels good to be back.
We have sunshine,
Jeana

Oh my goodness, you bought a View???? Go check my blog, I just posted about it on Friday, what a coincidence! I saw it last Saturay in the showroom and really LOVE it (Itasca Navion IS THE SAME as the View)... ! Hope you got a good discount, the dealer gave me 24% off but we didn't buy it for it's not our time yet.
ReplyDeleteWhich floor plan did you get? The one with the fixed bed or dinnette/sofa combo?
I'm soooo happy and excited for you!
PS: Yes, I was wondering why you were MIA these day!
Well, there you are! And packing wheels! You just skipped over all the angst and are ready to hit the road!
