Does anybody out there have Sirius Radio and, if so, what do you think? It came with my motorhome and I'm trying to decide if I want to pay for it or not. The only subscription I'm interested in would cost me about $9 a month and I'm just wondering if it's worth it.
I currently use Clear for my internet service and have been with them for a few years. They seem to have gotten the bugs worked out of their system and I'm having much better service than I used to. However, that's just here at home. It's supposed to be portable and I'm wondering if anyone is using it out on the road? I'm wondering if I should stick with it or go to Verizon like so many of you seem to have done.
I had personalized plates made for my Volvo awhile ago that suggests I'm going from Seattle to Tucson. Today I went and got them transferred to my motorhome since it's most likely now that I'll use the motorhome to go to Tucson. I figured it would be no big deal but it turned out to be a financial big deal, as in, $62.17. I might have thought twice if I'd known it was going to cost so much, but it's done now. I made sure before I left the house that I had a Phillips and a flat head screw driver with me for transferring the plates. Turns out that I needed a pliers. So much for being prepared!!
I haven't had my dog in Olivia (my motorhome) yet and I'm wondering where he's going to lay/lie when we're going down the road. I bought some wood today to make a platform to put on the passenger seat because he'll never fit on the seat and this might make it more comfortable for him. I put foam on the wood and then cover it with a rug so it's softer. Now watch, he'll decide he likes it better on the floor between the seats. I think he'll enjoy looking out the windows so I'm hoping the platform will work for him. I've done something similar in the back seat of a car I used to have and my SUV so that he'd have the whole space.
If you're wondering why I'm using the platform in an SUV when I can lay the seats down and he could have the whole back of the car...age...he's 14 and can't jump up like he used to. The back of my Volvo is pretty high and, as it is, I have to practically lift him to get him onto the seat. This works for both of us.
That's all I have for today.
I hear sunshine is on the way,
